
Feelings are overrated.
Detachment is underrated.
Empathy is great. Solving problems is great. Empathy is not a substitute for problem-solving. We need to hone our skills in both areas, not seek to replace one with the other.
Sometimes the biggest disappointment is getting what you want.
Social media is the Great Trivializer.
Pragmatism can’t see beyond the end of its nose.
When I was a kid, I loved corned beef hash, and I loved playing tag. Nevertheless, as an adult I dislike hashtags.
Someday I plan to have enough bandaids in the house to take up carpentry.
I’m not worried about space aliens invading earth. We’re too good a sitcom.

The only thing we have to worry about is the aliens thinking what’s on television is our reality, like in Galaxy Quest. Gives new meaning to reality TV. 🙂
